/// Well if muslim children are 1 in every 12, then the muslim pupils are in a minority. ///
They are certainly not 1 in every 12, in most London school's classes.

The report also found that:
The Muslim prison population is 'disproportionately large', according to researchers, with Muslims accounting 13 per cent of prisoners within England and Wales
I suppose, from the same report, this statistic should be absolutely of no concern to some either
Certainly not a majority but as stated by the Muslim authors of this report "Disproportianate"

At school age I would probably have said I was "CofE", although that would have been a guess as the family weren't churchgoers. RE classes opened my eyes to the smorgasbord of available faiths but my sense of logic told me that, if there's no agreement between them, then it's highly likely that they're all wrong. Bad RE, bad.

I think the lily-liveredness comes from the fact that most employers have equal opportunities policies in place and outspokenness will get you sacked. Whatever is going on inside people's heads, they're forced to keep schtum. (sp?)
Or, as one colleague was fond of saying, "Oops, thought Police" :D
