It is heartwarming to see an act of kindness carried out without the need to bask in the glow of publicity and applause afterwards.
What a lovely story.

I agree froggy...what a nice man !
I agree Frognog...That's why I never mentioned the drowning kitten I saved from the lake today. It's what anyone would have done.
The look on the little girls face after I had saved Tigger was reward enough for me.

Thanks for posting this.

I especially like this bit:

[i]The company tells us he does not want to be named because he is a "shy guy", who wants his act of goodwill to remain anonymous.[i]

Wishing him 'good karma'.

That's the bit that got me too sp1814.
I like the guy already.
Frognog

Hoping that two things happen:

1. As he wants to remain anonymous, the media drop the story, and don't keep looking for him.

2. Argos give him a little extra in his next pay packet - after all what he's done reflects well on the company.
Question Author
Yeah SP that'd be nice. I guess we'll never know if Argos cough up though.
Perhaps that's how it should be.
I never leave my identity. I do good for the sake of goodness and not for applause. So stop looking for me.
