"if they, or the paedophile who was locked up on Friday, had anything to do with UKIP. You'd never hear the end of it from certain boneheads & loudmouths out there."
If it were just one or two Kippers, you'd have a point, but remember last year there was one story after another.
It's not like it could be ignored.
Kippers should face exactly the same level of criticism as every other party.
Remember how Ed Milliband was slaugherted in the press and all over social media over bacon-sandwichgate?
And how Twitter went ballistic over Tony Blair's car crash Christmas card?
If we'd have been taking the Mickey out of UKIP, their supporters would have a screaming fit claiming they'd been picked on.
I strongly suspect that UKIP supporters don't want the same lampooning as the other political parties.
And that's impossible when they keep offering up such juicy stories ("The recent storms were caused by gay marriage" etc).
