You couldn't make it up ! In 2010, they managed to get only 3 seats out of a possible 40. In 1997 and 2001 they couldn't even get 1. So I suppose 3 is big step up for them. If anyone outside of Wales is still unsure why there is a certain resentment felt towards the English in general, and the Tories in particular, they need look no further then this ludicrous statement from dave.
