No - it has been used as a sanction since at least the sixties
( not trading - Drexel were caught then )
If the industry norms are known ( which they are - that is how long the average customer stays and how much they spend a a year - which is what £500 and at least 2oy ( income therefore £ 10k )
and you know how many new whatsits they get per day - which Scottish Power certainly do know - would ten a day be OK ?
then it means they dont get income of £1.2m which someone else does....
Strikes me as being a big stick
