that's a poor version of the video you've posted there AOG - it was (and is) a classic of 1980s visual art....
It would bring a whole new dynamic to all that flirting with Mrs. Moneypenny, I suppose.

I quite like this song, not sure why it's in bad taste.
One of the best songs to come out of the 80's (and there weren't many).
This is a better version, though:

So, Milipede is a dreamer who would like take us back to the '80's
Will Jane travel under the name April Fulz?

Well I don't know Jim, it could satisfy the whole 'equality' thingy, by turning Bond's flirtations into a full blown lesbian affair?
it's only luck if a character catches on on screen: Modesty Blaise never did, but other male spies like Derek Flint and Matt Helm only lasted two or three films before being pensioned off. Several male James Bonds have been deemed failures too.
I'd be hapy to go back to the eighties, best music best movies, best ever governement, wonderful times. Not sure about a lady Bond though!
Well this really does show Millibean is out of touch with his core voters. He needs to understand there is more to life than North London and the Islington set.

Nothing wrong with a female spy film, but not James bond. That is not the story line. It would be as bad as a man playing Laura Croft!
Best ever government in the 1980s?? You're kidding. Douglas-Home's was clearly the best we've ever had.
No no jim TGL saving the country from socialism, beatimg up unions, booting shredded wheat head up the jaxy, wonderful times. If it wasn't for her the Berlin wall would be up and we'd be a Soviet bloc outpost, this site would not be allowed. Still gromit and the anti British would be happy though.
sorry I forgot jim you are under 40, you won't know what the lefties did to this country because your teachers would have brainwashed you.
You missed the irony in my post, since the one I picked out as the best instead was, well, a year long, and rubbish. Shame you had to fall back on the old brainwashing crap again.
I was so sorry to hear of MT's death, sorry that it wasn't 35 years earlier.

Even if it is true Jim?
methinks he dost protest too much.
I don't see how it's even possible to answer that:

"Yes, it's true." "See, told you!"
"No, it's utter nonsense." "Yes, but you were conditioned to say that."

The fact is that it literally never even came up at school for me. Not in our history lessons, which seemed predominantly about WWII and earlier. I didn't take politics anyway; all other lessons had a strange tendency to focus on the relevant subject. I learned about Thatcher elsewhere, and I'd say I've got a fair share of views on her, from my ex-Tory-Councillor grandmother who could wax lyrical about her in ways that I think even you might find OTT, and my definitely very leftie DOS at Cambridge who (and I should note, only after I brought it up in conversation) felt she was the devil incarnate. Brainwashing? Never happened. Ever.

Ah, Bless, he didn't even notice it happening.
such subtlety!
Ed is trying - rather clumsily, to pin down his street cred on a number of fronts -

he's a feminist and bang up to date - 'Let's have a female James Bond ...'

Let's not Ed - Bond remains one of the iconic unreconstructed 1960's screen characters, to mess with his gender is to kill off a wonderful export - which is what you try and say about musicians you know nothing about!

"I like bad taste ..."

Oh stop it Ed - the self-deprecating irony doesn't suit you at all! You are a potential Prime Minister for heaven's sake - stop this ' I know it's rubbish but I like it schtick ...'.

Either speak as you should as a party leader - I like Ah-Ha, no explanation needed - they are a classic pop act, or, if you are going to be ironic, stick with saying you thought One True Voice deserved a better break.

Actually, better still - talk about issues that matter to your voters, this 'Please like me, I'm just like you ...' line disprespects both you, and the people you want to vote for you.
