To make things worse, I've just seen that Stephen Fry, like me, thinks it should be Tannhauser.

Of COURSE it should be Tannhauser.

Now I suppose we're going to be inundated with Ralph bleeding Vaughan bleeding Williams for another year.

As I was looking through the list I got to wondering what constitutes 'Classical' music when I saw that the film music to Star Wars was quite high up. Anybody else think that this isn't 'Classical' in the true sense?
