Sex Offending Is Written In Dna Of Some Men.

In an earlier thread regarding changes to the law where homosexuals were concerned, and peoples acceptances, I wrote
*** Just because a law has been passed does not automatically alter everyone's mind or attitude, in fact it has been proven time and time again that some law changes infuriates all manner of peoples. ***
*** Say somewhere down the years, the law was altered to make paedophilia no longer unlawful, because those likely to commit those offences where born like it, could you expect everyone then to accept that? ***
Having read the report in the link down below, was my forecast all that wrong?

never, SP?
one particular group was feted in the 1970s and 1980s, and came close to gaining acceptance. at the time, the chatterati were sharply critical of those who sought to bring charges against their leading light, tom o'carroll.

sp, I'm not wrong. The Circles is a great organisation that helps offenders with the aim of stopping them offending,
The lack of support is for those who haven't offended but get the urge to. The very real fear is that if they admit to paedophile urges they will be labelled as a paedophile and it will have ever lasting negative effects on all aspects of their life.

Being knocked unconscious and then set on fire is hardly an 'everlasting' effect, HC.
And, in case others are afraid to say it, society does not want these types to thrive, get any enjoyment out of life and, especially, does not want them to successfully reproduce. Since that last bit is what 'life' consists of, I sum that up as society wanting them to have an everlasting non-life.

I reiterate, paedophile relationships will be legalised on the same day that Prince Charles rides along the Mall on a real life unicorn, accompanied by Godzilla, playing the latest One Direction single on bagpipes.
No matter what happened in the 70's, it's not ever, ever, ever, ever, ever going to happen.
It's just...just...not.
Surely you can see that?

I'm wondering to what extent the conflation of homosexuality with pederasty/paedophilia stems from what people learnt about ancient Greek practises?

I've even heard one version in which even married (hetero) men would indulge in it as a primitive form of birth control (ie sex without procreation, which may be a response to low availability of food and other resources).

erm ... Hi AOG - what did you predict this time ?
anyway some things never change
do you remember XYY and crime ?
Men possessing an extra Y chromosome showing aggressive tendencies ?
It was a big deal in the sixties and seventies - here
http:// www.sci encecla rified. com/dis pute/Vo l-1/Are -XYY-ma les-mor e-prone -to-agg ressive -behavi or-than -XY-mal es.html
and in the nineteenth century there was always the Jukes family

This had been said to be reflected in the surgeon Lord Moynihan's family - one branch has Lord Colin Moynihan all round good egg and Olympian and his half brother was a founder of a family of brothel keepers, bigamist who didnt father a legitimate heir altho his Thai widow said he had ( well she would, wouldnt she ? )
But I dont think that Colin Moynihan is saying that if is half- relations if convicted of anything should NOT go to prison.
