you don't pay M&S to make you pants, you pay them for pants they've already made of their own volition. And pants-making is not domestic. Though truth to tell, old folk like me still make do and mend.
I'm glad there isn't an oven tax. I think the last time I turned on my oven was on Burns Night. And that was only because some friends came over to cook at my place.
