Joseph Smith was similar (but with a stronger sexual appetite, and a propensity to murder), also for profit. Record of murder and sexual predation well documented.
Mohammed was similar, but with greater disposition to violence, torture and rape. Very well documented in all Islamic "holy" sources.
Which of the above statements are:
(a) fair comment;
(b) hate crimes?

Svejk, your link is to American Pamela Geller's website. Funny, I didn't think what you said had made the papers in this country. Attempting to establish the full extent of Islamophobia - and anti-Semitism - in Britain doesn't compare to what Miliband is suggesting. I might have missed it - bit tired - but I can't see a reference to any such promise from Cameron - in fact I can't see his name there at all.
Equality in law? Ha ha. I know 'call me dave' is a fine looking man, Naomi, specially in his orange hat*, but really . . .

I must admit, if Samcam was leading a party, I'd probably overlook her political shortcomings and ineptitude.
But it looks hypocritical to knock another leader for 'buying' the Muslim vote and defending one's own for trying the same thing last week. I believe, just yesterday, he promised more apprenticeships for black and Asian kids??? I know he doesn't make party policy but could you imagine, say, David Davis, saying such things.
Not that I'm saying I'd rather see Ed as PM, you understand. That could well be a disaster from which there's no return.

Svejk, he didn’t try the same thing last week. His name wasn’t mentioned in your link – and his press office certainly haven't issue a press release on the subject with the intention of making headline news. You're right though about the prospect of Ed Miliband as Prime Minister - and about the hats. ;o)
Not sated at usurping his brother & his jewish line, he chooses the Herodian path. Next will be all males circumsized or taxed for non-compliance. He proves I aint the maddest ;/p
