Nigel Farage isn’t taking part in the main debate, but the BBC have given him his own slot at 10.40pm as part of their ‘Ask...’ series.

The placement of this slot may be due to the fact that Ukip have been given major party status, or it could be a coincidence.

It should be remembered David Cameron was uneasy about appearing alongside Nigel Farage without the Green Party present to provide competition on the left for Labour.
That's even better than being part of a throng of party leaders, surely?
You could be right (for once ;)) Sp. The viewing figures could
be interesting.

Yes I agree but it would have been interesting to see how our Nige stood up against Cameron, Milliband and Clegg.
And for once I agree with AOG :-) I would have liked to see Farage there although it is fair enough to give the LibDems priority as they currently are the third largest party in Parliament
We've argued about this before but I don't think Cameron's desire to see the Greens involved was anything other than a smokescreen
Why ? Because he's a Berk ??
No, he is polling more than the Lib Dems.

Name calling pretty much shows you up for what you are and really is not big and clever.
So if I say he's a proud Englishman with a foreign name and a foreign wife who hates foreigners ,what then ? Or is that name calling ? Berk ?
*But he doesn't hate foreigners. Why would you say that?
*to the best of my knowledge.
Maybe they didn't want him changing the rules and lighting up during the discussion.

/// Maybe they didn't want him changing the rules ///

About time someone did.

/// and lighting up during the discussion. ///

Shouldn't that be and lightening up the discussion?
AOG...Clegg has 57 MPs in Westminster, and UKIP have 2. That may go some way to answering your question !
'All very interesting - Goodnight, Lucy, I love you' (for whoever remembers 'Laugh-in'!).
aside from the main debate and a snippet of trivia;

' Or is that name calling ? Berk '

Its a shortened version of 'Berkshire Hunt' which is rhyming slang for something more offensive!!!
