Nigel Farage Withdraws His Resignation!
Nigel Farage tendered his official resignation as leader of Ukip to the NEC. This offer was unanimously rejected by the NEC members who produced overwhelmingly evidence that the Ukip membership did not want Nigel to go!

The reason it isn't obvious by contrast with UKIP is precisely because there ARE a lot of strong options.
It won't be Yvette Cooper I'll tell you that now, though. Liz Kendall might be a better bet as the first female leader, but there's no rush.
