Stealing Other Peoples Vote
30 Answers
The Road Steward for our road (24 houses) suggested to me how easy how easy he could have used some of the votes of other people living in our road. He knows everybody's name and if they were intending not to vote or were away and not using a postal vote. When he went to the polling station on Election day he did not have to produce his Polling Card and was not asked for photo I.D.
I think security should be tightened up in elections as the voting in Tower Hamlets showed that corruption is rife in certain parts of the country.
If this country is to solve the illegal immigration problem a start could be made by introducing a National Registration Identity Card .

// Everyone gets a voting card, it can't be that difficult to have a hand it back to get a vote system.// no Geez - that is an obstacle to allowing people to vote and the whole point is to get em in their voting so it is made easy and there are other checks to fraud

There is always some gawd dammed awful excuse being made to try to foist id cards on free citizens of this country. Why don't those desperate to be controlled or to control others, not just give up ?

there is a difference between what he said he could do and what he did
or as Judge Judy would say: coulda shoulda woulda
I would not dream of going into the voting booth twice
[ not because I habitually behave so badly or am rude to other voters ]
not only because of that - but because the voting officer is there all the time ( by 10 pm using match sticks I think ) and would recognise me
and say oi oi !
( there is another thread on this - on the day which covered this point )
