Yo Victoria Rant
16 Answers
Are there any other users of Victoria Station?
I only do because it's where you end up if you get on the train here.
But it's really a dump. All the London stations have been done up. Kings Cross has been modernised. St Pancras has the very jolly Champagne Bar. Even Liverpool Street has had a facelift.
But Victoria?
Are they planning to make it obsolete, or something?
And the area. I had lunch at Yo Sushi today, which was nice enough. But the whole area is just a sh-hole. I know they've got the Palace, and all that, but ... what a dump.
Anyway, there we go. Victoria rant. Hope we've all had a good day. A good day, meaning ... didn't have to spend it in Victoria!

I congratulate Network Rail on their ability to produce a lengthy document (about the redevelopment of Victoria Station) that doesn't actually tell you anything!

However I do know that the whole of the area around Victoria Station is due for major redevelopment. That's because I was one of 3 supervisors, monitoring 45 staff, capturing data about pedestrian movements in the area some time ago.
