I really don't want to get into the whole detail, but I think I may be pregnant, based off of extreme pressure on my uterus and also before I started feeling anything, I woke up out of my sleep, threw up and almost passed out. That's when the progession of things started up. Etc etc you get the point. And also I took a test over a week ago and it was negative.

Any who, I went to the OBGYN to test. It was a simple pregnancy test that you would get at the store. I took it and the woman took it back. Next thing I know, the woman is quiet and calls another woman in to look at it. Lots of whispering I hear one nurse go "Should we give her a blood test?" And the other one goes "we can't, it's against our laws " and the nurse comes in and tells me it came back negative BUT to come back in 2 weeks. Also she made sure to mention that it was against the law for them to even get me to take a pregnancy test because I did not miss a period (I didn't have a period. I spotted and they still called that a period because it's still blood.

What's going on? Me and my friends think that it was possibly a very very faint positive and they may want me to come in in 2 weeks so it boldly shows up. I am confused of what is going on. Can someone help?

Do as suggested another test in a couple of weeks..you don't say where you are or how ol..I guess the US and you sound young....perhaps you need to speak to your mother ?
I would suggest the same. If you are pregnant your mum is your best friend.

I am 19 years old. I live on my own, so I do not need to speak to my mother, as I am of a mature age. I live in the US.
19 is still young to be going through such a stressful time though ....maybe a trip to your doctor who can answer any questions and do another test..they can here in UK ....
As minty says, 19 is still very young. At that age I knew everything. It took a long time to realise I actually knew very little. I'm now 68 and still learning!

If you don't feel you can talk to your mum then I urge you to talk to your doctor. Your mum will find out anyway, I'm sure she would rather hear it from you.
How long ago did you do the second test? I would try again in a few days.
against the law for a woman to take a pregnancy test in the US? Pull the other one.
you are a very naive 19 year old - if you can't work out there are pregnancy tests available that detect very early pregnancy......and you can buy them in a pharmacy. stop faffing around and go and buy one. that will tell you if you are pregnant, not strangers over the internet in the uk.
