I apologise if someone else has posted this story - I normally steer away from the News section but this story is quite sad and thought provoking.

I know that the Police have a difficult job to do and I accept that they are human and that humans make mistakes. But this is a HUGE mistake and I have no doubt that heads may roll if there has been genuine incompetence (can incompetence be genuine?)

It's completely inexcusable and unacceptable. I can't comprehend how it happened. Heads really should roll because nothing can overlook this - it is their 'patch'
well boys and grils

well, it's hard to believe but I bet a £ or even a fiver that the autopsy will be interesting as to whether the male died in the accident or sometimes afterwards, as, if the latter, the family will be in for major compensation.....

I can understand a car going through one of our local lane with their walls here, down a slope and into a ditch and going undiscovered (and we had one case with an early Alzheimers in the local woods) but near the effing M9 and a call of concern in - just mind-boggling.
Can we see retrocop's learned opinion to this feck up by the Stirlingshire police?

How puerile can you be, divebuddy, frankly pathetic.
even distasteful.

What will the police be like in Scotland when it becomes a separate country?
Reported...as you are frankly off the chart - and oh by the way I did life drawing in my training, not death drawing. Don't think you could do either.
Been on the bottle again DTC ? Someone has already suggested a period of suspension may stop you trolling and making personal attacks. Keep trying son.I won't bite and you, once again, show what I described you as on another post. Leave it out.
DB...your comments are puerile and stupid. The Police have clearly left this car for 3 days, before examining it properly, and its a disgrace, full stop.
No retro, I haven't been on the bottle as you have insinuated and never have been - I am interested in your take on this and how the behind the scenes would tackle this, there being 2 enquiries as we have been led to believe.
DTC
The last time you asked me on my take on a certain subject I gave you an honest answer as to how I would of dealt with a situation as I saw it.
You replied with a personal attack and accused me of belonging to a particular pernicious organisation. Your answer was removed I recall. Don't you learn son because I have learnt not to give you the time of day.
No, I am serious, you are one of those that has been on the inside, so to speak. Tempis if you decline, I have no issue - divebuddy on the other hand is a right....

Guys, stop bickering and behaving like children. I have no idea what you are all twittering on about but stop it.

This is a dreadful story, as soon as the police were notified they should have checked it out. That poor girl left in the car for all that time.

Lessons must be learned from this.
