The common use of the phrase anit-semitic is to denote anti-Jew. If you were to ask the 'main in the street' what anti-semetic meant, the vast majority would say anto-Jew, so pointing out that other people from the area are semitic is just cheap and petty point scoring.

If you are going use a word you should at least know what it means. The fact that Palestinians are accused of anti semitism is rather ironic. The fact that a mistake is common does not make it acceptable or right. They are not anti semitic, they just have a problem with a people who occupy their lands.
