Telegraph Booker Review On The Arctic

Bit of a one in the eye in the DT for the global warming computer modellers.
The European Space Agency and others having predicted that the Arctic would be ice free by 2013, the volume of ice has increased by 33%, the Hudson Bay the thickest it has been in 20 years, Canadian icebreakers stuck and the signs being that this year will be even more pronounced as to the presence of ice......
Has Al Gore shot himself in the foot as to his predictions of flooding in "An Inconvenient Truth," ought the scientists have a rethink?
By the way my geological mind says that there has been a lot of bunkum produced by the protagonists for warming and that (i) the Earth has the ability to correct itself and (ii) even 200 years is so short geologically and (iii) we have always experienced cycles. Not that I am condoning belching crap into the atmosphere or seas to pollute our environment- but let's get a better balance and science into the data.
I can't yet find the article online - page 26 in the Sunday Telegraph.

Some of his 'theories' are downright dangerous. He thinks Asbestos is safe and precautions when handling it are just Health and Safety nonsense.
