He's Tasked To Oversee Standards In The Lords...
During his time in office was it a case of, 'Do as I say, not as I do.'?

The Tory party might well have suspended him if he was found guilty in a court of law and not the court of AB. We will never know. Only evidence seems the usual "no smoke" etc
Of course the Sun could of fabricated the amusement they provided and dubbed Mr Sewer's voice I suppose but I have not read of any howls of protest about the story from the star of the show yet.

I don't think anybody is seriously suggesting that Sewell didn't do the things he is being accused of r-cop. He has already resigned for his (very highly) paid position as Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords, and Chair of the Lords Privileges and Conduct Committee. He should now resign altogether. Silly tw6t.
He is an embarrassment to the Houses of Parliament.

Randy...I am half-agreeing with your there ! (12:36)
I am reminded of a story that is told about Churchill. A minor member of the Government was found in the bushes of Hyde Park with a Guardsman, sometime in the 1950's, when such things were still illegal. It was also a very cold and frosty night.
When Churchill was told about this, it is said that he commented something along the lines of ::
"What ! On one of the coldest nights of the year ? Makes you proud to be British ! "
