What A Load Of Cobblers.........
This story must be the stupidest I have read for a while, and the family must be desperate for a few bob from the Mail!.
I cant believe that a family didn't have any food in the house, that they had to go to Nans, for dinner, and the photo of the kid with a crust of bread, come on.
The total bill was only for £48ish, I spend more than that and I am single.

I am pretty sure the missing element to the story is that they were buying booze.
You do not need to look 25 years old and have to show Photo ID to buy McCain's Oven Chips and Birdseye Potato Waffles. But you do to buy alcohol.
Imagine the Daily Mail indignation if under age youths were getting a big stash of booze delivered to them by ASDA.

I just had a quick look at mushrooms link, and noticed a story that there's two more idiots in the local rag.
Think theses two are worse than the other family.

All the supermarkets ask for somebody over 18 to be present to sign for a delivery. It isn't because of alcohol, possibly just the legal part of signing for something. I realise in this case, there were over 18s, but they had no way if proving it (??). Maybe they should be a little more organised and not wait until they only have three slices of bread left, next time.
