Fact Or Science Fiction?

I have heard something like this for years, the suggestion that we are looked over by a super being, just like we look over a nest of ants etc.

For the atheists amongst us, if this is so is there really a 'God'?

Anyway, good luck to anyone who wants to establish this as fact. It sort of follows that if we are part of a simulation or sorts, then any measurement we attempt to make will be using another part of that simulation. I can't see there being much hope of distinguishing such a simulation from "reality", especially as this is after all what reality is for us.

All the same, it can be fun to think about.

I can't see how it's possible to only imagine that we exist. We have to exist to do the imagining. Even if we're only simulations, we're still real ones.
