There has been a recent spate of some AB'ers posting only to deride and needle other AB'ers personally, rather than because of the content of their posts.

It's not in the spirit of the AB, and it has largely dwindled away now - can we not start it up again?

I have read the posts, but that is not the point.

If you feel justified in making personal comments, I cannot stop you - I am not 'judge and jury' as you say. However, there are sanctions to prevent such behaviour, including the Site Rules.

I have been guilty of getting into spats with people - I have, during last and this week advised that I am making efforts to avoid getting into such situations, because it takes two to spat - and I have consciously withdrawn from exchanging posts with a couple of AB'ers as a result of my decision.
