Egghead Cj, A Murderer......well Thats
what he says.
I knew he was gay but never knew he was a rent boy!
He also says that the BBC wouldn't let him on Strictly Come Dancing with a male partner.
That would be fun.

Talbot......I did say puff pieces are usually flattering articles because many autobiographies appeal to people who already like the subject and want to know more about their lives......
Controversial or shocking puff pieces can get folk off the fence and buying the book....so maybe puff is not the right word....but it's still used....x

i hear the term "puff piece" regularly and know exactly what it means, i have never confused it with pouf/poof, they are pronounced differently for starters.
i did once receive a message calling me a puff as i wouldn't do something and had to ask what they meant, perhaps it is a regional/age thing? Although in the context AH wrote, i can't see how AOG came to his conclusion...

Talbot - "AOG contributed a post in Nov 2012 containing the words 'puff piece' all be it a C&P.
Perhaps he should read what he is copying and pasting."
Fantastic - don't know how you found it, but it pays to be consistent on here!
If I open the window and listen very hard, I am sure I can hear the sound of a petard hoisting an AB'er .... but AOG has decided to retreat from this thread - as he usually does when he fails to win an argument.

divebuddy - "such crowing over such a small victory doesn't make you look good, you know."
Noted.
If I am attacked - as it seems I am with increasing frequency, by a small group of AB'ers, and they fade away when their argument evaporates before their eyes, then I feel a sense of victory.
If I am out argued, I will be happy to post as such, and if I unwittingly offend someone - I have never produced an unprovoked attack on an AB'er in my life - I am more than big enough to apologise.
Crowing doesn't look good, I agree, but neither does nasty jibing and sniping and slinking away either.
