However it was noted in an interview on Five Live yesterday that one eloquent speaker who had answered all the questions put to her in fluent English suddenly lost her fluency when asked why she had chosen not to leave a safe county (Turkey) and chosen not to register in Hungary- she suddenly apologised and said "me not understand- my English not good"

AOG - "We no longer have a true 'British way of life' labour gave that away with their multicultural' way of life."
Indeed - God forbid that we should seek to be a vibrant outgoing mixture of creeds and colours, learning from each other and developing tolerance as we become accustomed to each other's ways.
Let's go back to the days when father went to the city in a bowler hat and mummy stayed home and cooked the dinner and looked after the children.

What a rosy glow that brings."
Well it sure beats the hell out of the endless whinging and whining that is slowly strangling this section in a morass of paranoia and xenophobia.
Have you looked how many of the recent threads are concerned with immigrants and Muslims?
Some people on here are obsessed!

I think that you need to "cut us a little slack" here on AB, as, for the past few years at least we have been bombarded by posts, mainly, but not always from left wing followers, indicating that we are neurotic about the arrival of Islamisation of the West.
Isn't that what we are now experiencing?

Actually coming from you that's laughable. By your own admission you know only one Muslim, and he I assume is the barber you were talking about the other day, so tolerance can’t be that difficult for you to muster up. You’re not really making a concerted effort become accustomed to other ways are you - you're just telling everyone else they ought to.
