the notion of the British military targeting specific British citizens is a little odd (I assume they were telling the truth and it wasn't just a mission that went wrong). Is it not thought proper to kill soldiers from other countries any more?

I think the Jihadis take enemy action as a matter of course - they believe it is their destiny to die for their faith.

That's what makes fighting an enemy like this so difficult - for Allied Forces, fighting is a job, part of their life, and dying is to be avoided at all costs, for Jihadi Forces, fighting is their life, and dying is to be embraced.

also they can watch them, such is the technology....you have to remember that the security services use processors that are three to five generations on from what you and I can buy.....seven years ago it was the Intel Nonium and you could watch on the ground in near-real time....think of the satellite capturing loads of x-y shots and then they 'simulate' through the z axis....
