I love The Guardian, but sometimes they really get my goat.
Apparently we have been attacking people, to prevent them carrying out terrorist atrocities, cutting off people's heads, killing people in barbaric ways, etc ...
But because they are from the UK ... we are baddies for attacking them ... so we should leave them alone to get on with plotting to murder people??
Am I misunderstanding this??

/// However, Corbyn's point is that it flies in the face of a parliamentary vote. Do you best defend democracy by ignoring it when it suits? ///
We have already had a democratic vote, and we voted the Conservatives in power.
Yes in power, power to make some decisions on security etc, if we had to get permission from the other parties before taking action, it would be no better than a coalition party ruling the country.

Well, ymb, I can hardly forget something I have no knowledge of happening. I know some have claimed ISIS have declared war on us but I have not seen the ISIS statement saying so.
The argument is not pro nor anti ISIS, even though some contributors in the threads on this forum like to make out it is. (A debating tactic I suppose to move the goalposts.) It is about parliamentary procedure and upholding what is right, not abandoning principles in the rush to hit back at ISIS, regardless.
