After all, a influx of new blood could help make up the shortfall in population causes by many of the native Poles leaving as economic migrants for a better life in Western Europe.

Because he thinks that......
"According to the Polish president, stronger states “are using economic and demographic advantages to impose solutions, without taking into account the specifics of other countries.”
He argued that the division of refugees “should be realised in proportion to the capabilities of a state to provide help."
Maybe he's not sure that the "new blood" seeking a "better life" is willing to work for it.
Andrzej Duda, the Polish President represents the Law and Justice Party, a right of centre conservative party. It is therefore not very surprising that his views are similar to our our right of centre Conservative Party.
Perhaps theyre not as stupid as other countries...
Perhaps it is because they and he are Roman Catholic and do not have the anglican 'latitudinarian' outlook

Thank goodness for right of centre Conservatism.

Have Labour already forgotten, that they had admitted to making a mistake over immigration?
AOG

Do you think an apology from the Conservatives is now well overdue?

There has been more immigrants come to the UK since 2010 than in the previous 13 years which Labour apologised for.

Annual net immigration was less than 200,000 in 2009. It is now over 300,000 and rising annually.

I cannot see the arrogant Tories or their sheep apolgising for anything though.
David Cameron: "We will take steps to take net migration back to the levels of the 1990s - tens of thousands a year, not hundreds of thousands"

I wonder how long we will have to wait for the Conservatives to admit to mistakes on immigration?
don't know why he's making a fuss. he must know by now the migrants don't want to be in poland so as soon as they're allocated to warsaw, they'll be on the first train to berlin and with free movement in the EU, nobody can stop them.

/// There has been more immigrants come to the UK since 2010 than in the previous 13 years which Labour apologised for. ///

It was under Labour that they let in hordes from Eastern Europe, and while we remain in the EU there is no way we can stop further hordes come in, if the whole of Germany, France and the rest wanted to come here, there is absolutely nothing that could be done, short of unchaining ourselves from our EU masters of course.

No need for such insults Gromit, you have already been told by your fellow adjudicator to keep insults at bay.

AOG, was it not Heath who signed us into Europe? Blame where blame's due.
Yes, but Labour chose to flood the country with cheap er, labour in 2004 when they didn't have to. Hence the, tardy, apologies.

What does that mean PP?
