E Cigarette Ban In Greene King Pubs.

My local has banned the smoking of e-cigs inside the pub, about time to! I work in there on Friday evenings and if you get 3 or 4 people puffing away it does make the atmosphere horrible, just like pre July 2007.

When people smoke e cigs and vapes (or whatever they`re called) do they emit smells, chemicals etc? If that is the case, why should staff in bars be expected to breathe those chemicals for eight hours or so?

If you allow people to put anything in their mouths in pubs or restaurants, they could be taking anything. Ban it. Sounds reasonable to me.

"you also make it easier for scrotes/chavs to smoke real fags" Not that I would call customers crotes or chavs but anyway, I don`t agree. Banning hasn`t encouraged others to smoke cigarettes. People tend to know when smoking is banned - believe it or not, the public aren`t stupid

It is only Greene King's managed houses where there is a blanket ban.
In Greene King (and other) tenanted and privately owned pubs each landlord decides to allow E cigs or not.
