One of those talking about her on Radio 4 this morning mentioned her rage which fuelled some reports that she presented. I'd have said 'righteous rage'.

Excellent reporter. RIP Sue. Sad news indeed.
I too listened to this on the Today Program this morning Sandy and she sounded like a very feisty woman. Her interview with the African Minister defending FGM was funny in its way but chilling none the less.
Regardless of the lady's undisputed courage as a journalist, I always found her voice sounded like a cat sliding down a blackboard, and could rarely concentrate on the information she was delivering because of the dreadful sound of the voice with which she delivered it.
Andy, are you sure you mean Sue Lloyd Roberts or do you mean Lyse Doucet? I always have to switch off when she comes on.
RIP Sue.

I am sure - I don't know who Lyse Doucet is.
A BBC reporter, nasal French/Canadian accent that really gets under the skin.
I think LD may also be part Irish.
A fine journalist indeed, RIP Sue.

Came across as genuine and interested in her subject, R I P.
