AG...it seems a history lesson is needed here ::
https:/ /en.wik ipedia. org/wik i/House _of_Lor ds_Act_ 1999
In 1999, the Labour Government, newly voted in with a landslide victory in
1997, brought about much needed reform in the HOL. The Act above removed the right of inherited seats, apart from a rump of 95.
The previous period in Government by the Tories showed no willingness whatsoever to introduce similar reforms.
I wonder why !

/// It is Mr Corbyn's job as head of HM's Opposition to expose the government's smoke and mirrors, and on this, he seems to be doing his job very well. ///
He will have to wait almost 5 years before he might be in a position to 'put things right', but then again I think that Labour have had their day, especially with him as the leader.

I don't think anyone - including Mr Corbyn - seriously believes he will still be leading his party when election time rolls around - but that does not detract from his ability, and his willingness to perform the role of Opposition Leader while he still holds the post.

It sounded a pretty annoying question to me -- one that is typical of politics, where the only correct answer is also political dynamite. Of course Cameron can't make a guarantee that literally nobody will be worse off as the result of a particular policy that will take some time to implement and anyway needs some redesigning in the light of a Lords vote not even two full days ago.
Give the bloke a chance Naomi, after all we all know the way the Tory's are going, does Thatcher come to mind? yes, things have to change I do agree but not at the expense of people that has not got a lot, why don't they start by cutting the expenses of the MPs? that would be an incentive for us "All to be in it together, or does that not apply to the folk outside the H.P
