Thought I would share this with any cat lovers whose cat wont take their pills. If you have any fingers left get some Easy Pill Cat Putty. It is soft and smells of fish, wrap it around the pill and hey presto, they eat the lot. We it worked for my cat. O

Oh hell!!! I've just laughed so much I could barely see the words. Hilarious!
LOL
Thanks for the tip smurfchops :-)

Thanks for the giggles Boo ;-) How true is that?!
Laughed my head off reading that, Boo. So true
smurfchops - it says that 30 treats are £30+, how long do the treats last?

I wrap Frankie's tablet in a Webbox stick or a Tesco equivalent. However sometimes the sticks are pretty dried out and the pill is easily found and spat out.

I am tempted to follow the instructions in Boo's link. My vet calls him a cheeky little monkey - he is a loveable pain in the neck.
@wolf...I was thinking of Frankie as I read B00s link...;-)
Great post boo.Especially liked the last bit about giving a dog a pill,I used to Give Max pills like that,he'd swallow it straight down then look at me waiting for the next dose.
pasta - he is bearable. I keep reminding myself that it could his Pit Bull cross sister. I had never seen a cat muzzle before my last trip to the vet - the vet was only going to weigh her.

Wolf I just googled cat easy putty and lots of online places come up, petdrugsonline was £5.20 for one but there is enough for two uses. But some online places charge postage on top. I got mine around three months ago and about to use the second half of the putty.

Love that joke B00 but its so true ....
Smurfchops - it would work out more expensive than his blasted tablets.

I know that some of the cat medicines have a cat friendly taste to entice them to eat their medication. Frankie's Prednisolone is a human drug.

Yes - dogs are simple creatures, throw a bit of food in their direction and they will eat it - and the tablet inside it :-)

Wow, it really helps. I will give it a try.
