hey old buddy/adversary!

always a pleasure to hear from a trained climatologist like yourself...

lmao jno touche! Im not a trained climatologist but an amatuer one!  What did you make of the second link? I read the BBC article then I pmsl when I read the skynews poll that totally misleads the public....

"Extreme weather: Is global warming to blame?" Right under a big story about Rita which has nothing to do with global warming (IMO). Typical SkyNews though!!

statistics prove conclusively that the rise in the number of people posting the wrong links matches the rise in stratospheric air temperatures.

i refute your stats jno it'd be like venus here if that was the case! (me being a contributing factor)! Seriously what did you make of the article?

The planet goes through cycles, global warming is not in doubt, the cause is in doubt. Man has control of 3% of the carbon, the rest is in the long carbon cycle. Anyone who doesn't know what that is is not qualified to debate this issue. Essentially man kind has very little to do with the natural cycles of the planet, Is just become fashionable to assume he has.
again, should we not err on the side of caution? its not as if we can affird to lose a gamble with our planet at stake. ps, i've got a geography degree, but dont feel qualified to debate this at any real level, as education is not a guarantee of correctness.

Right - just answer simply please someone...

Is this about biased news reports, or meteology?

I couldn't quite get what the dig was about.
