World leaders have started to use it, I assume the pronunciation is Day shh, so now we know what to call them.

Oh know....TTT has just found a new unfiltered word to insult people with!
@Jackdaw33

//Soz, Hypo. I have no knowledge of Arabic.//

Oh well. Don't ask: don't get, is what I say.

// My posts are the result of googling. //

Filthy habit... errm, I mean join the club!

@retrocop

What do they call themselves?
Presumably not ISIL?
And al-Dawla al-Islamiya al-Iraq al-Sham is a bit long winded every time
ToraToraTora
what word ummmm? Daesh? have you read this thread? are you a daesh supporter?

Strange comment from someone who whinged when asked if being a fan of Napoleon was he also a fan of Hitler.
The Judean Peoples' Front!!!
Please don't insult me, TTT.
Oooooh, we've found a naughty word to call them - that'll frighten them.

P.S. For those rednecks who only see extremes of black and white, the above comment does not mean I in any way support Daesh/ISIS.

ummmm: "Please don't insult me, TTT. " then explain yourself, you are berating me for having a "new word", that word is meant to be offensive to the murderous terrorist low lives, you seem to object to that, so perhaps you can help me out with what you meant.
What we need is more sticks and stones. This name calling won't amount to much.

Very sorry I did not provide the link. It was so old I thought all were up to speed before this was posted on AB. It was on Yahoo news hours ago .:-)

I noticed that our new Prime Minister, Justin Bieber, is going to withdraw our aircraft from the coalition strikes.
Canary has found a new word as well. Second time she has used it in 5 days. :-)
Stuey, I take it that you are not best pleased with the result of the Canadian elections.

Question Author
"BBC head Tony Hall said it risked giving impression of support for group’s opponents" - what he didn't want to support the civilised world? typical BBC!
@retrocop

Okay, I read the article in your link but you said:

//Sure there are a few Daesh sympathisers here just from what i read today //

By "here", I thought you meant Answerbank? That's what I usually do, unless I am wading into a debate where the meanings of 'here' and 'there' have already been established by the conversation, so far.

I've never seen anything posted in support of Daesh and we'd be giving them a piece of our minds if they did. (Or the threads were pulled before I had the chance to see them. Whatever got deleted in this one I didn't get to see so, ss usual, I feel cheated, as usual).

Whose posts keep disappearing?
