I believe this is not the first time Gayle has made such remarks.....if it had been, then it would have been excessive. However, it's probably reasonably fair for the salary he pulled in.
I see Broad got docked 30% of his match fee for twice telling the umpire to 'get on with the game' - given that is probably akin to what Gayle got done for financially, this is unfair in my book.....

No...she's a woman trying to do her job in a professional manner. There's time and place for everything,and this cricketeer...and a lot of other men going by this thread...seem to have trouble grasping that.

How is it insulting to be told you're attractive, and to be asked to go for a drink?
I accept he shouldn't have done it during a tv interview, but it's not "demeaning and insulting", IMO.
It's insulting because she is stood infront of him in her capacity as a cricket correspondent and not a potential conquest.

Being asked for a date isn't insulting or demeaning.......being propositioned by someone with his sleazy reputation during an interview is demeaning and insulting......
He wasn't complimenting her......he was living up to his reputation.....and that's not a compliment.
