Or, since the Germans are achieving by stealth what they failed to do in two World Wars does it not matter any more?

It is a history book written by a dangerous deranged lunatic with a dream. The Germans know that and can't be any more contrite for what their country was guilty of in History. I have an unexpurgated version that I could copy and give to German friends. It wouldn't morph them into Nazis !
Quite correct retrocop.
I am staggered always though by the belief among many that somehow the Germans have not moved on from the mistakes of two World Wars.
I hope and trust that the events currently unfolding there will not see the rebirth of Nazism or anything similar, but the idea that the actual national or governmental ethos hitherto has been to conquer Europe by stealth is mindboggling, and shows a complete misunderstanding of Germany.
