Anyone who has read Phil Tufnell's autobiography will know. The year he appeared on the show there were numerous injuries, even among the expert tutors! Some were very nasty.
Care to share Ag?
Filthy lucre?
Known as do anything to get on television fever think they call it
There were a few broken bones etc. One I recall happened to the ex-Strictly dancer Ola who lasted two minutes and was out of action for months. Phil himself could have been killed when he couldn't stop after a jump and faced a 10m drop below with a lorry approaching.

Another female was doing a bobsleigh run and the break handle came off in her hand which caused panic!
Even more injuries tonight.

Davina said to Tina Hobley that she was welcome to come back next year. LOL!
Don't think she will, do you?

These Celebs must must be desperate for the money (or to get their faces on TV) to put themselves though this.
they do it to get on tv, bump up a failing media presence and the big one.........for the money!
Beth Tweddle broke her back didn't she - very dangerous show !
Alice, I do agree but the risk is very high. If they injure themselves then there is not much chance of further exposure and therefore no money.

They would need to pay BIG money.
I would say that to these 'celebrities' the risk of no media presence is higher than putting the skis on!
Phil Tufnell didn't do it for the money, he was in high demand after winning in the jungle! His nature was such that he would jump at the opportunity ;)
