Why I Am So Anti Immigration

There have been lots of debates on here over the years about immigration.

But when you see the behaviour of these man it is no wonder so many are against immigration.

And this is just one of a large number of Asian men from all over the country who have been jailed for this sort of behaviour (in Rotherham, Oxford and other places).

I am not saying every Asian person is like this, but the percentage of Asian men who behave like this is VERY high, putting all our young females at risk.

As I have said many times, letting so many Asians in to this country was one of the biggest mistakes we ever made.

Here is more on the Rotherham case

Here is the Oxford Case

Sadly there are others in other cities.

What have we done to this country.

//I mean that the Muslim groomer/rapists seem to pick their victims very well....victims who don't seem to have many/any responsible adults looking after their well-being.//

They certainly don't appear to have responsible adults prepared to advise them of the most likely source of danger. Particularly if they are unfortunate enough to find themselves in the care of social services. Still we must, I suppose, sacrifice women and children on the altar of liberal diversity.

Not sure about the 'incurious' line.

In fact, I'm not sure what the debate is here. Is it a discussion about these recent cases, the reasons behind it, the prosecutions or a general thread about immigration?
Togo

No...what must happen is that there needs to be a far-reaching investigation into child abuse.

Let's be honest...we (in the UK) have been pretty flipping awful in the protection of children. The Pakistani grooming gangs are the latest in a long line of scandals, starting with abuse in the Catholic Church, the Saville case, the Cyril Smith case etc etc...all have a component of the Establishment turning a blind eye.

I would not be surprised if there are more cases happening right now where the victims are ignored, simply because...and I'm going to say it...simply because they are not 'the right type of victim'.

There.

That's the elephant in the room.

I guarantee to you, that if any of these kids were from nice middle class families, the prosecutions would have come much sooner, and the kids would have been believed.

As it was, the girls were largely in the care system...they had no voice. And no-one would listen to them.

They were the victims TWICE over.
I'm arguing for (well, not just yet - I'm about to argue for once I've heard your argument against) the proposition that all cultures are NOT equal, and that some are in some ways markedly sub-standard, SP. The case chosen in the OP was sexual exploitation. There are many others I could adduce. But the threat posed to women by immigrants with certain cultural affinities is one case where feminists, liberals and even those multi-culturalists who've retained some of their critical faculties should be united on.
vetuste_ennemi

Interesting proposition.

Please list immigrants in terms of origin, and how far substandard we are.

Say...start with people from Barbados, and work your way across Europe and Africa.

I can't wait to see where I sit in your rainbow collective.

Hoping I'm not too 'rapey'.
SP, you are not an immigrant but your parents are, and you are utterly wrong to align them in any way, shape, or form, to the immigrants with certain ‘cultural affinities’ that vetuste_ennemi is referring to. That enormous and seemingly ever-present chip on your shoulder does your ancestors, your parents, yourself, and the civilised, and albeit diverse, people of this country, a great disservice. How dare you insult them so!! You seek offence where none is intended and in doing so you not only malign each and every one of them, you degrade yourself – and that saddens me because it makes you your own worst enemy.
Naomi
I wish I could of thought that. How very perceptive. The chips are old hat though and oft mentioned on many occasions but I guess there is no smoke without fire.
retrocop, it makes me sick - truly.
naomi24

Hoorah!

I was wondering who would be the one to with the 'Chip on your shoulder' prize today.

Nice one.

Okay...how do you know what the cultural affinities vetuste_ennemi is referring to?

He mentioned immigrants.

My parents are immigrants, so y'know.

Anyway - you really need to chill out here.

You seem to be getting all fraught.

God knows why. Everyone seems to be able to comment, challenge and counter-challenge without offence!

Oh, and please try not to get offended on behalf of other people...it's a hiding to nowhere.

By the way - have you seen the film 'Spotlight'? I'm watching it on DVD right now.

Fascinating. Highly recommended.
It reminds me of a character from Rising Damp and it isn't Mr Rigsby. :-)
SP, whoosh - right over your head. How sad.
vetuste_ennemi

Again - you're being vague.

Which cultural affinities are you referring to?

Unless you specify, who are we to make assumptions on your behalf?

Are you talking about Africans, West Indians, Eastern Europeans, Asians???

Seriously - could you just illuminate us on which set of immigrants are the horrid ones, and which are the nice ones, and then we can move the debate on.

As it is, it's pure guesswork.

Also, are you absolutely sure you're just talking about immigrants?

What about us children of immigrants? Surely we are more culturally aligned to our forefathers?

Or perhaps not?

I literally don't know.

And please don't assume that I'm taking offence, or trying to paint you into a corner - this is something you raised, and I'm trying to get you to expand on what you mean.
Both my parents were immigrants so I am kinda in favour of it
and as far as I know my father never raped anyone
naomi24

I think I know what vetuste_ennemi, but it's very easy on AB to infer meaning where meaning isn't being implied.

I think it's wise to continue the debate, rather than sinking to the level of childish nonsense, don't you?
Peter Pedant

I'm almost certain my dad didn't rape anyone either.

Although I suspect my mum once copped off with my Geography teacher...and she's a strong woman, so technically it could be described as a minor sexual assault.
SP, I have no doubt whatsoever that you know exactly what vetuste_ennemi is talking about - and I haven't sunk to the level of childish nonsense.
naomi24

Oh, but you really have. You really, really have.

It's times like this that I yearn for New Judge to pitch in. I might not agree with him politically or socially, but you never get SP, whoosh - right over your head. How sad. from our learned Judge.

Sometimes I feel like Mildred Pierce in a room full of Vedas.
Anyway - enjoy the rest of this thread...I've got to finish 'Spotlight' tonight. It's been quite instructive listening to your arguments. I can't say that I agree with your viewpoints, but they are heartfelt and valid.

Night night.
Sp v.e. is quite capable of knowing the difficulties of the argument

some men have black skins implies all men have black skins

universal generalisation ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_generalization

and v.e. is a bit coy on these threads
the rest of the usual suspects cut and paste the same old stuff to each new daily thread....

some asian men are child rapists
therefore all asian men are child rapists
therefore stop all immigration
this will inevitable stop all child rape instantly so we will never have to check whether it is true or not ....

day after day....
SP, my assessment was accurate. My post defending your parents and every decent immigrant residing in this country has, in the light of your response, very clearly gone right over your head.
