Got a question and surprised to find there is no 'Politics' section on AB!

When/if they have the referendum on staying/leaving the EU will it be held like the usual elections, i.e. vote at a polling station and have polling clerks counting them? Will it be held with anything else does anyone know?

Thanks both.
Possibly a useful hint for you:
To view ALL of AB's section headings, click on the word 'Topics' at the top left of any page.
I expect there will be the usual arguments as to whether it should be held with anything else or not. I suspect it will be standalone.
In order to save money, these kind of things are sometimes held at the same time as local election, etc.

Not sure about the referendum though...it could be as early as June according to some sources.
Probably the usual voting regime.
The Scottish one was held in the usual polling station and was a 'standalone'.
If that is anything to go by.......
