Yes, DC did indeed ask for next to nothing and has got a little less than that. Each of the so-called concessions which the Euromaniacs seem they may agree to are simply temporary changes which can (and will) be withdrawn at any time (i.e. as soon as the UK votes to remain). The entire “renegotiation” has been a sham and Mr Cameron will return, as did Neville Chamberlain, with a piece of paper which, worthless as it is, will be swiftly shredded after June 23rd (or whenever). Anyone seriously believing that the EU will change should look at the newspapers from the last 40 years. It don’t happen and it ain’t gonna happen.
Anyone wanting a few more details of what is in store for the next generation should this one be foolish enough to vote to stay in the EU may care to glance at my last reply to this question:

This is the ONLY chance you will ever have. Make sure you do the right thing for your children and your children's children (and for me and 3Ts as well).

The EU would be quite right to tell Cameron to *** off. It's a club. You should abide by the same rules as every other member or leave, which is obviously what we should do, because we clearly don't like the rules.
We can't demand all the benefits of being in a union but refuse any of the drawbacks. We're not the SNP for godsakes.

The Irish electorate voted against a proposed treaty and had to go and vote again to get the result the politicians wanted.
If the UK voters opt to go will their voices be heeded?
