They're entitled to their views, big business will win out it usually does.
They already are, all Jewish run market stalls are closed on a Friday where I live.
Not Saturday, aog?
I can't see why shops have to open on a Sunday at all, surely 6 days a week to go shopping is more than enough?

And if the shop had been closed, I would not have been desperate enough to wait outside on the Monday morning for the shop to open, and then rushed in to buy the said item.
Yes, let's have no shopping on a Friday the Muslim and Jewish holy day !
Jewish sabbath is Saturday so that makes three days in all we couldn't shop.
