I don't think that there should be a 'Minister for Women'. Not so long ago women were made to feel that there were many things that we would be unable to do career-wise.
Things change - some slowly and some quickly. Men may be physically stronger than women but women tend to be tougher and more resilient. But that is all a generalisation - everybody is different.
Many women (me for a start) have no desire to settle down and have children, this is good because I would have made a terrible mother. There is no longer so much external pressure to conform.
