LOL
I forget just how bad the Daily Mirror is, until I read drivel like that.

The Conservatives' ideology is for a slimmed down public service. The cuts aren't really about saving money, they are about just not providing services for free.

Presumably, if there really is a need for a childrens centre, a private entrepenure will set one up, for those who can afford it.

We need a slimmed down public service, we dont have the funds to pay for anything else. At least while we are throwing millions in foreign aid and 55m a day to the EU
fender, labour were just as bad at lobbing foreign aid and Blair geave up Maggies reduction to pay more to the EU in his attempt to get the EU presidency.
His mum doesn't have a job - she's there for a few hours a week as a volunteer. Additionally, if she drives people around now perhaps she will offer to drive those without transport to the other centre. You expect everything to be free, Canary, but it all has to be paid for in one way or another, and the public purse isn't an endless pot of money as you seem to think it is.

I agree with Gromit. The report is drivel.
