I don't think their heart is in it.

Cameron hates the EU as much as everyone else.

The Labour Party is supposed to be Pro, but Corbyn is Anti EU, so not much coming from them.

Is it my imagination, or has UKIP been absent from the debate. We haven't heard anything from them for weeks.

"Cameron hates the EU as much as everyone else." - so why is there even a contest? if everyone wants out??

so if the PM hates the EU why is he not pushing an out vote?

is this some sort of comedic attempt gromit?
Question Author
if we get out then UKIP will have done their job so I'd imagine they'd have to disband.
Because he knows it would be damaging to our economy probably.
Question Author
so are you saying that he is so generous as to override his own view because of some BS about the economy? No greater love......
Tora,
Cameron hates the EU but knows it is the best option for the UK. Which is why he is on the stay in side but why he is not doung a very good job of promoting it.
Question Author
well he must be the only politician in history to campaign against his own view!
Because "Empty vessels make the most noise".

They'd only be repeating themselves and I'm glad that they realise the public must be sick of that repetition, by now. Farage pops up on BBC Question Time about every 6 episodes.

@T3

Yes, job done.

Tora,
I think most of the 'In' supporters see the EU as a necessary evil rather than something that is desirable.

The Brexitters don't hear the economic arguments because they don't want to.
Hypognosis

But its the one policy they have. Seems strange to be so quiet in the debate on leaving Europe.
Question Author
the economic argument is non existant. The In crowd just want to frighten with flawed predictions.
They're not quiet, you're looking in the wrong places Gromit.
Talbot,

I am looking on the television and in national newspapers, they are not there. I google them and the most up to date national story was from a fortnight ago.
@Gromit

//But its the one policy they have. Seems strange to be so quiet in the debate on leaving Europe.//

Have their coffers suddenly run dry, I wonder?

@Talbot

"Wrong places"? Like Gromit, I haven't noticed much campaigning on the mainstream media. The BBC, for one, must be looking in the wrong places.

Maybe Tory splits are deemed more newsworthy than the same, old, same-old from the F'rog chorus?

They are on Twitter everyday. appearing in and thanking people in various towns for supporting Brexit.
Maybe the BBC have no desire to report on UKIP and their Brexit campaign?
Nor ITV, SKY, C4, 5 - Telegraph, Mail, Express, Times.

If there is no campaigning from UKIP, there is nothing for them to report.

As I say, nowt from Labour and the LibDems also. Only the different sides of the Conservative Party are getting any headlines.
