yes he should Nigh - silly old me - it is a court case and adversarial and so both sides should be put. not allowing a defence to be heard has led to all sorts of problems and issues ( whether or not they have 'obviously done it' ) - beginning in England with the regicides of Edward II ( yes that would be 1328 ) and the idea they hadnt put their case and so had had their heads chopped off unfairly

I hope they hand him over to the French (and don't lose him on the way). The Belgian cops are a complete shambles, there's something like six different forces in the one city of Brussels all vying with one another in different languages with different mayors. If this - (add epithet here) had been hiding in London he would have been picked rather quicker than he was I'm sure.
