Looking very official, glossy, quality paper and print, nice big banner headlines, even done up in Red and Green to please the local populace. Printed in both languages, English and Cymraeg.' Leaving Europe would be a leap in the dark' white print on a funereal black 6" by 6" square in the most prominent position. Further banners stating 'Leaving Europe would be a leap in the dark'. It has come from strongerin.co.uk/join and the only sources quoted are, The Office for National Statistics, Wales online, HMRC, and BBC Wales Online. Propaganda in its most blatant manifestation. The Welsh main news this evening began a blatant campaign to remain in Europe, with a set of doom laden statements and bogus statistics. Deliberately giving air time to people who were pro Euro, and showing just one anti Euro in the worst possible light. There are no phone numbers or accredited authors or agency, just the web link inviting you to join. It will get dirty before long.

The EU is not funding Strongerin. It is a campaign group supported by wealthy individuals such as Stuart Rose the retail magnate and donations from the public. A very basic bit of research and you could have found that out yourself.

The European Movement is an EU funded propaganda arm of the EU institutions. Surely the Deputy Director of the BSE campaign should have known that they were the founders of her campaign? How can she deny that BSE is in receipt of EU funds when it was set up by the EU funded European Movement?//

'The European Movement' pre dates the EU. Winston Churchill was one of the early Presidents of it and it was funded by the CIA.

Saying the stronger in campaign is EU funded because of some tenuous link to the European Movement is bogus.

You might as well say UKIP is an EU funded organisation because the EU pays UKIPs MEP salaries.

As you well know Gromit, the salaries and remuneration of MEPs from all parties are published and open knowledge, as are all expenses claimed.(not that the books have actually been signed off for 20 years). All MEPs are elected and more importantly can be unelected. The shadowy, secret committees that have access to funds and access to the inner sanctum of the EU mafia are accountable to no one. They are set up to influence and wield power, that has been ceded by default, and whose only aim is to maintain the gravy train that is the domain of a few. At the expense of the many.
