Thought I was going to have a 'slobbed out ' weekend, Mrs B away from yesterday until Tuesday. I went to the Kennels in time to feed B'fast to new hound and take him for a run, think he's going to be work out ok.
Did some essential shopping on way back, 2 packs of beer, bottle of gin type of thing.
Got home to a call from our mate Doc. inviting herself for the weekend, no problem there, told her Mrs B was away and she will have to have a mattress on the floor as the spare beds are dismantled ready for moving, she said "Don't worry, I'll share

Only posted half my post there ^^^ I'll try again,

........."Don't worry, I'll share, if you promise to be good" told her I can normally manage good, sometimes better.
Anyway she's on route (S/London) Mrs B has been told she coming down, and said yes I knew. The spare mattress is unpacked and made up, so all is well.
It will be nice to have the company and get the neighbours gossiping again.

Your best laid plans seem to have worked out a bonus . Mine not so.
Last week I was due a major vascular operation. The prospect of spending the whole week and Easter w/e in a hospital ward was an attractive proposition. The alternative was to drive to Dorset to attend a 60yr old party and disco where all the tipsy seniors became John Travolta and O.N.J in the shake of one schooner of sherry. Stay over at son's new home and garden B.B.Q. this afternoon.
As you know they cancelled the op and I am suffering with a pounding head (mega amps) and spots between my eyes (flashing lights). Got out of the barbie though. Back home to relax. Still mourn the hospital alternative though. :-(
