It seems politicians just can't keep their germans out of the jack gromit!
welcome back to the rhyming slang ....

Jack gromit - that must be vomit .....
and Germans - German Mitts ..... 0h- zits

so the SNP cant keep their zits out of the vomit ......

umm..... yes ...... delphic I calll it
some wise words from 3T again
and Easter thought perhaps ....

well it could be a reference to Grey Friars Bobby the dog who lay on his masters tomb for twenty years
( and lived off the vomit of the drunks making their way thro the churchyard )

Presumably, someone has now told Lamont that the SNP has neither “failed to respond” nor “shut up shop” on the matter, given that an SNP spokesperson is quoted in the item itself as having done the opposite…ie responded!
Obviously, I have no idea what the truth is here and would hope that – if pilfering, fiddling or anything else illegal has happened – it will be investigated and handled by the appropriate authorities.
German band = hand
Jack & Jill = till
what a load of pony comes out of your North PP.
North face - grace ?

well it is Easter- and this is a short horror story - politicians shock found with their hands in the till ..... and snorting piously away ....

I am truly astounded - the only thing is to wonder why they hadnt got their faces in the trough sooner
Happy Easter Peter, thank you for the smiles.
HI mama
Happy easter
I hope you have polished your gingly gang ( that would be rhyming slang ) for use on this thread ....
If you think TTT is an April or a lemon and want to join in, go to http://www.cockneyrhymingslang.co.uk/
I doubt I could ever be polished enough in the gingly gang department , have enough trouble being understood in Boltonian as it is.
Scotland has been turned into a kleptocracy. ;-(
Apologies to Cockneys, it should be "lemon" and not "a lemon"...

Lemon is lemon tart = smart

April is short for "April in Paris" which rhymes with Aris. Aris is short for Aristotle and Aristotle is the rhyme for bottle. Bottle is short for bottle and glass which is slang for a word meaning bahoochie.

Easy eh?
Now as a Londoner there was me thinking it was 'Fool' as in April Fool and 'Lemon fool'

Been doing a wee bit thinking and if you say master rhymes with plaster you could use plaster of Paris and start calling a bahoochie a "master"...how much further can it go?
@gromit

(only tenuously linked to OP but first thing to come to mind).
