"The judge said the alcohol Ms Wrightson had consumed on 8 December 2014, "may have numbed pain, but it won't have taken it away entirely"."
so that's alright then, lets all get rat ar5ed before being tortured so we can save our torturers some time in Jail. 15 years minimum, PMSL, throw the kin Key away and put this useless judge in the same kin cell, makes my blood boil.
...and we sre still not allowed to know the names of this sub human slime....
beggars belief.

The Judge has made a very full Report, and I urge others who think that the sentences were light, to read this Report.
Just to be sure...these girls are not going to be out in a few years time, as some have suggested on here. After the 15 years is up, they can apply for parole, and not before. So the Tricoteuse can put their knitting down for the next 15 years at least.

T T T, Read the link ! It clearly states that the Judge had no option but to impose the sentence he did. He has imposed the maximum sentence possible under the circumstance
So how do you justify a comment like ''Put this useless Judge in the same *kin cell''
How many times on here do I have to state that judges DO NOT have the power to make up their own sentences!. They can ONLY sentence within the permitted limits.
Even more to the point if you read the comments it is pretty obvious that the judge was frustrated he could not impose a longer sentence.

Once again the same misunderstanding!
They will not 'be out in 15 years'!
15 years is the MINIMUM time before they can start the process to apply for release on licence! Only if the parole board is satisfied that they are no longer a threat will the process of setting a release date start. At the very minimum that will take another 2 / 3 years for a decision. A more realistic 'release date' would be 20 years. Even then , as with all 'lifers', they are only released 'on licence' , a breach of the conditions of release means they can be recalled to prison even years after release.

As to those who say we are too soft on child crime look at the facts.
The UK has passed around 200 life sentences on under 16 s in the last 20 years, the total for the whole of the rest of Europe is 2 , yes just 2.
Other European countries regard such cases as being in need of care and education more than punishment.
Now of course we will get posts saying ''good, another reason to get out of the EU''

You are a frequent and vocal supporter of the removal on anonymity in cases of violence and / or murder - can I ask why you think releasing the names of the guilty party would make anything more acceptable in the form of the justice and sentence provided in this case, and others we have debated many times here oin the AB?\
The judge has given a detailed account of why he believes that removing anonymity would be counter-productive - I am intersted in what your argument would be in terms of the positive aspects of publicising the idtenties involved.
