However, from what he says, he did the honourable thing and cashed in his investments before becoming PM and paid the going rate of UK taxes on them. And pigs fly. And the moon is made of cheese. And,.............whatever. I believe h will 'bat it out' until at least after he referendum - the man has thicker skin than a rhino.

I dont think the problem is doing anything illegal more the lies surrounding it.
If he had come out up front and put it on the table then there would have been no issue, but he didnt therefore his position is now compromised as we dont know whether or not he is telling the whole truth now.
Given the man is not averse to telling porkies I suspect there is still more to come. 30K is nothing and he is stinking rich.

OK, he dodged the questions. But why. It would appear he has not actually done anything wrong at all.
So suspicion be there that there is more.
It's not a witch hunt this time, the man should have know to put it out clearly on the table in 2010. He failed to do so meaning his credibility ius now shot (as if is was not before)

youngmafbog, he's a politician - and a human being - and we're all fallible. And now he stands accused of doing nothing illegal - and you want him to resign for that? Frankly, I don't believe his financial affairs, which as far as I can tell, have been conducted perfectly legitimately, are anyone else's business.
