I feel poorer and older every day.

I also back Brexit, so perhaps it's true.
You can prove anything with statistics, in fact, 63.763 % are made up on the spot.
The old definitely because we remember the days before the EU.
Not just old people but the retired as well. I`ve just been staying with a couple who took severence from my company and now that they are retired, they don`t much care about the economy and how leaving the EU could affect their jobs so they will vote with their hearts rather than their heads.
Won't be just them, but the old recall how it used to be before we gave up sovereignty and so could be again, whilst the poor may want change. Others may be more susceptible to "better the devil you know", "don't rock the boat because you'll be all alone" persuasion.
TTT...that is not what it says !

This a Poll done by YouGov last week :::

While there are differences across the various profiles, it shows that the Poll is about 50/50 so far.
What does that show, Mikey?

It's all just numbers swimming before my eyes.
No one who lives and are not multi millionaires can afford not to care for the economy.

Maybe retirees simply realise that the economy blips from time to time anyway and any short term economic issues will be nothing in the longer view/experience of things. And besides there is no reason things should change much since it is in everyone's interest to keep trade going. The EU having the best of the existing trade balance anyway.
Study the results Hoppy. This is only one survey but it does show that the young are saying that they will vote REMAIN and the older LEAVE.

If the remain camp can get the youth vote out, it would help them enormously.
Well, I don't know where that leaves Boris. He's neither old nor poor.
It says it is too close to call. That the exit group have most support from age 50 plus (when divided into age groups) and it seems everyone wants a vote in 2015, so they're a bit late.
It would be interesting to see an AB Poll regarding this situation: "Leave or Stay".
stuey, there was one a little while ago. I think the 'outs' had it.
OK; I didn't realize that.
Naomi...Boris is a chancer. He realises that if he is in the leave camp, and the vote is to leave, then he knows he will be in poll position when it comes to the race for Number 10.

He would become a vegan and join a ruddy Morris dancing troop if he thought it would get him into Downing Street.
You cynic Mikey.

Won't he be damaged goods though, if the remains win?
Stuey...that in/out AB Poll was no great surprise, as the majority of active member here on AB are right-wingers.
Mikey, when did we have a poll asking for our political persuasion?
Not really Hoppy. He will have shown he did his best to do the right thing and is willing to stand up and be counted. It's good either way. But I have no reason to suppose that he is only doing this for personal gain and has no desire to leave really.
